Congratulations to PY4 students Arden Bui, Yang Guo, David Taska, and Zachary Whitehead, who presented results from their Research and Scholarship in Pharmacy (RASP) project at the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition virtually in December 2020. Congratulations also go to Anna Brown for presenting about her research at the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists (NCAP) Annual Convention virtually in October 2020.

Arden’s abstract is titled, “Professional continuous glucose monitoring for patients with type 2 diabetes in an interprofessional internal medicine teaching clinic.” Her faculty mentor is Dr. Sachiko Ozawa in the Division of Practice Advancement and Clinical Education (PACE).

Yang’s abstract is titled, “Entrustable Professional Activities as an assessment method for global health experiences.” Her faculty mentor is Dr. David Steeb in the Division of Practice Advancement and Clinical Education (PACE).

David’s abstract is titled, “Identification of Opioid-related Emergency Department Visits to Mission Hospital.” His faculty mentor is Dr. Lindsay Harris in the Division of Practice Advancement and Clinical Education (PACE).

Zachary’s abstract is titled, “Assessment of SGLT2 Inhibitor Utilization in an Inpatient Setting.” His faculty mentor is Dr. William Zamboni in the Division of Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics (DPET).

Anna’s abstract is titled, “Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices of Faculty Regarding Community Pharmacy Post-Graduate Training.” Her faculty mentor is Dr. Stefanie Ferreri in the Division of Practice Advancement and Clinical Education (PACE).
